Rhinoplasty animation – How can a Nasal Hump be reduced?

Hallo, welcome to my
animation videos, my name is Dr. Julian De Silva. I am a London based facial
cosmetic and plastic surgeon. I specialize in rhinoplasty and only complete
procedures on the face. The aim of this series
of animation videos is to provide you
with information about the detail
underlying the nose. How the procedures are completed and an appreciation
of the fine detail and intricate
anatomy procedures. So, you have an awareness of the expectations
from the surgery. I hope this
animations are useful for you thank you for watching. With rhinoplasty, no two
people’s noses are identical. Rhinoplasty requires
in my opinion a degree of technical
excellence in measurements, in millimetres in fine detail, and an artistic license in
order to give each patient the best possible result. It’s a combination
of these two things that give the best
possible result. Rhinoplasty is always
about an improvement, as it means remodelling
and reshaping and refining your
individual nose and the underlying anatomy
that makes that up. It’s not about a complete change and so absolute perfection
is rarely obtainable. It’s about an improvement. In my opinion if you’re thinking
about having rhinoplasty, it’s important that you
take adequate time to do sufficient research. Research your potential surgeon, look into the details of how
they complete the surgery. What will be the final
result for you? What is their
artistic interpretation in terms of surgery? What is gonna be the
recovery for you? This is time that is well
spent because ultimately it’s gonna determine the
recovery and your final result. I hope this information
has being useful for you. Thank you for watching.
