Quaid Say Baatein اُردو کارٹون | Episode 6 | Season 2 | Ain-e-Pakistan | Constitution of Pakistan

Senate goes to National Assembly or Nation Assembly goes to Senate. Ouff!!!…Why is this so difficult. Exam is there in the morning, how will I memorize it.. and this sleep… Be awake Zainab! Don’t you sleep! Yessss…..Now I am awake and I will not sleep anymore. What is National Assembly? How is the law made? What is senate? I don’t know, I don’t know But I’ll tell you all this…Zainab Who are you? Book: I am the Constitution of Pakistan Zainab: Wow Today I will tell you the story of democracy and democratic system. There are three pillars of democratic government. Judiciary, Administration and Parliament. Parliament is the most important pillar of democracy which is constituted by public representatives. Legislation and oversight of the administration are the most important responsibilities of the Parliament. Parliament has two parts, National Assembly and Senate. Members of National assembly are selected through general elections After formation of National Assembly, the members elect the country’s administrative head, the prime minister. Then the Prime Minister forms a team called the Federal Cabinet to handle the state’s affair. This is called National Assembly. Now we will talk about the other section of the Parliament.. This section of Parliament is called the Senate. Our representatives in the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies elect the Senators. The most important task of the National Assembly and the Senate is to legislate. Wow. But how does all this happen? Whenever a law is to be enacted, it is first brought in the form of a bill to the National Assembly or the Senate. After approval from one House, it is sent to another House. After the approval of both houses, it is sent to the President of Pakistan.. and bill becomes law as soon as it is signed! Wow. This is so interesting.. but I have a question… What can we do if we want to get our voice out to the government? Many things. In addition to connecting people with local government offices, You can pass your suggestions to the National Assembly and the Senate through your elected representatives You can also file a petition in the Senate We can be a part of the legislation by joining the public hearings of parliamentary committees. You can get the resolution of grievances through various government helplines, commissions and the Supervisors. But yes, you must have an identity card for all these. Wow. I understand everything! I think my task is finished. I will go now! Good luck for your exam! This democracy paper has ruined my whole result … Hardly passed. How many marks do you have in this paper, Zainab? Zainab :100.
